SAI DONG URBAN PRIMARY SCHOOL AFFIRMS EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE THROUGH THE CAMBRIDGE PRIMARY CHECKPOINT 2026

In May 2026, students of Sai Dong Urban Primary School participated in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint. Strong results were achieved in English as a Second Language, Mathematics and Science, including six students attaining perfect scores. The outcomes highlight the effectiveness of the Cambridge Programme, CLIL instruction and bilingual learning environment.

In May 2026, students from Sai Dong Urban Primary School participated in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, an international assessment administered by Cambridge Assessment International Education, covering English as a Second Language, Mathematics and Science.

The 2026 results demonstrate continued progress in the implementation of the Cambridge Programme and the school's development of English as a Second Language.

OUTSTANDING RESULTS

English as a Second Language: Average score of 28, matching the international benchmark. Reading: 30, 2 points above the international average; Listening: 28 and Use of English: 29, both meeting the international benchmark.

Mathematics: Average score of 43, exceeding the international average (31) by 12 points. Number: 46; Thinking & Working Mathematically: 43; Geometry and Measure: 42; Statistics and Probability: 40.

Science: Average score of 38, exceeding the international average (32) by 6 points. Thinking & Working Scientifically: 39; Physics: 39; Earth & Space: 39.
