Sai Dong Urban Primary School organized an AI training session to help teachers explore new approaches to competency-based assessment. The session focused on using AI to develop questions, design learning tasks, analyze assessment results, provide appropriate feedback, and monitor student progress, supporting more effective teaching and assessment while keeping students at the center.

On the morning of August 20, 2026, Sai Dong Urban Primary School organized a training session on “Applying AI to Innovate Assessment and Evaluation Towards Competency-Based Student Assessment”, helping teachers update their approaches to applying technology in professional activities.

Teachers explore practical AI applications to support competency-based assessment and student-centered learning.

AI supports teachers in developing questions, designing learning tasks, and utilizing assessment results, thereby diversifying assessment methods, identifying students’ competencies, and monitoring the progress of each student.

In particular, AI does not replace teachers but serves as professional support, providing teachers with additional data to understand students, provide appropriate feedback, and adjust teaching and learning activities more effectively.
