The second week of the 2026–2027 school year continued smoothly at Sai Dong Urban Primary School, with teaching, learning, and boarding services operating steadily. To ensure the safety of every student meal, food safety control procedures continued to be implemented rigorously, covering every stage from food receipt and handover, the three-step food inspection process, and food preparation to meal portioning and food sample retention.
Supervision has been maintained on a regular basis through close coordination among the school’s relevant departments and the meal service provider. This has been one of the key areas of focus for the school since the very beginning of the school year.
In particular, during the second week, parents continued to work alongside the school in organizing boarding meals. They participated in joint supervision, observed the actual meal organization process, exchanged views, provided feedback, and shared practical suggestions.
The presence of parents not only provides an additional channel of supervision but also reflects their understanding and appreciation of the quiet and demanding work undertaken by teachers, staff, and employees as they care for students every day.
A safe meal is built not only on procedures, but also on responsibility, cooperation, and trust between the school and families.
