On the first of November, Sai Dong Urban Primary School, in collaboration with Language Link Academic, organized successfully Ring the Golden Bell Contest. The primary objective of this competition was to promote a culture of academic excellence among the students and provide them with a platform to enhance their knowledge in various fields. Additionally, the contest aimed to develop the students' intellectual capabilities, improve their English language skills, and foster logical thinking abilities.
Ring The Golden Bell Contest coincided with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Long Bien District's establishment, adding an extra layer of significance to the event. The competition was designed to commemorate this milestone while encouraging students to showcase their talents and compete in a spirit of healthy competition.
The contest consisted of two stages: the preliminary round and the final round. In the preliminary round, participants were given access to an online software platform containing 40 questions to be answered within a time limit of 20 minutes. Each student was allowed to participate in the preliminary round only once during the specified period. Language Link Vietnam (LLVN) compiled the results and submitted them to the school's Board of Governors for the final round qualification process.
The final round was divided into two sessions: Session 1 included students from grades 3, 4, and 5, while Session 2 comprised students from grades 1 and 2. Each session featured 60 outstanding participants who had qualified for the finals. In this round, participants faced 15 multiple-choice questions. They were required to select one correct answer from the provided options (A, B, C, or D). Participants who answered incorrectly were eliminated from the competition. The contest continued until only one participant remained standing, thus determining the ultimate winner.
Apart from the honor of winning, Ring The Golden Bell Contest offered a range of prizes and rewards to the participants. The prizes included one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and several encouragement prizes. In addition to tangible gifts, the winners also received scholarships to support their further education and academic pursuits.
Ring The Golden Bell Contest at Sai Dong Urban Primary School, organized by Language Link Academic, proved to be an engaging and enriching experience for the students. It not only encouraged them to strive for academic excellence but also provided them with a platform to showcase their knowledge and skills. Furthermore, the contest fostered a competitive yet supportive environment, promoting personal growth and the development of critical thinking abilities among the participants.
By organizing such competitions, schools and educational institutions play a vital role in shaping the future generation's intellectual capabilities and nurturing their talents. Ring The Golden Bell Contest at Sai Dong Urban Primary School serves as a shining example of how academic contests can inspire and motivate students to reach new heights of achievement.
